![]() ![]() If I was him, Id've knocked her down a well & been done. It got to the point where I was happy Jared was such a douche towards her. I spent the majority of the book wanting to smack her upside the head for being such a dummy & putting her people at risk over her whims. She always ran into situations half-cocked & NEVER thought anything through. ![]() Your supposed to be this badass warrior fighting for the love of your country, yet your running around crying over some chick who left you 5+ years ago? Seriously? As for our heroine, Lea, she was beyond TSTL. I don't mind a little bitterness from characters but he went out of his way to be an asshole towards Lea. He's always plotting about how to get back at our heroine, Lea, just because she broke off their betrothal. My problem was that I found the h/h very unlikeable. The writing was way better than I expected it to be from a line of books that I consider literary Lifetime. ![]() This was my first introduction to Harlequin romances & it didn't work out so well. ![]()
